I am the AI guru at Picklezone, a unique esports and technology platform that provides a comprehensive experience for pickleball enthusiasts, teams, and professionals. Leveraging the emerging technologies of blockchain, AI, and digital assets, we enable our platform to offer a Social-Fi + Game-Fi experience where users can play, build their skills, and earn money.
I am also a USAP/PPR Certified Pickleball Coach right now helping to build high school pickleball clubs and leagues. With our ai, we’ll be able to identify talent in athletes well before their scores show it.
With over 35 years of experience as a founder, philanthropist, investor, mentor, author, and curator, I have a passion for building a worldwide community of giving and supporting social impact initiatives. I am a certified blockchain expert, a Draper University Startup Hero Program alumni, and a fellow and entrepreneur-in-residence at the University of South Carolina, where I teach blockchain and data privacy. I am also an avid sportsman, biohacker, and certified pickleball coach, who believes in our health and longevity.

After graduating from The Citadel and serving two tours in the 82nd Airborne Div USA, he earned his Masters and Doctorate in Health Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina.
For his doctoral research, he studied how healthcare would adopt internet-based tools such as online messaging, scheduling, and access to medical reports.
Dr. Jones is a Fellow to the iSchool and Entrepreneur-in-Residence of the College of Information and Communications at the University of South Carolina, where he teaches Blockchain in Information Sciences, Data Privacy, and Self Sovereign Identity.
Dr. Jones is also an accomplished athlete being a member of a 4A State Soccer Champion team, triathlete, tennis enthusiast, and member of the US Men’s Masters Beach Ultimate Team, winning Silver in 2004 & Gold in 2007 at the World Championships, Dr. Jones enjoys other sports such as Golf and Pickleball (Certified Coach USAPA/PPR). He is also a biohacker focused on combining Farm organic foods with Nutrigenomics and regular exercise to maximize cellular metabolism and nutrient absorption.
With his wife, Dr. Jennifer Jones, they have adopted five special children and founded ApparoAcademy.org, a non-profit preschool for medically fragile children through an innovative, integrated, inclusive model preparing children for K -12. They live in N. Augusta SC.
